Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 2 bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of milk or milk alternative
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup + 2 TBSP chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Spray a bread or bundt pan with non stick cooking spray
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the two bananas
  • Add the eggs, sugar, milk, oil, and vanilla to the banana mash
  • In a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients ( flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt)
  • Slowly fold in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients
  • Once well mixed, add the chocolate chips
  • Pour into your baking pan and bake for 25- 30 minutes
  • Let the bread cool completely before removing from the pan
  • *** I stored mine in the fridge and it keeps for about a week
